Probably the best coffee in Mudgee. Had the big breakfast which tasted amazing. The place must have a good reputation because it was always packed when we walked past it. Would recommend having breakfast and coffee here if you and some friends are staying in town for the weekend.

My husband required guidance when ordering for Gluten free options, after hearing his options there was not much to get excited about! We dine out 2-3 times a week & he enjoys an entrees/starter & a main course if available. My burger was Big, Beautiful & Delicious It's a shame no G.F. burger with bun for Hubby. His lunch was meagre & a mix of bacon, egg & cheese, on disintegrating bread. The only saving grace for him was the 'designer' G.F. beer he'd brought as 'happily' your is a B.Y.O. establishment!

Cute little cafe with a small, but delicious menu. We sat outside, under cover. We ordered the farmer's breakfast which had the standard items on it. This was the first time we've had the items come out kind of stacked on top of each other! The only thing I wish was different was that they didn't have sourdough bread. Everything tasted great. Our cappuccinos were delightful. The service was friendly and quick.

A Mudgee resident told me, rather emphatically, that I had to try the bacon and egg gnocchi at Pipeclay Pumphouse the next time I visited Mudgee. Finding it closed, I did the next best thing and followed its former owner and head chef, Andy Crestani, to Millbrie. Sitting somewhere between a cafe and a restaurant, Millbrie (an amalgamation of his kids’ names) is a pleasantly decorated indoor–outdoor space right in the heart of town. The aforementioned gnocchi, which is made by Crestani onsite, has made the jump with him as a breakfast dish ($24). Arriving at lunch time we headed straight for the special: a pot of mussels ($36) with crusty white bread for scooping up the somewhat salty cream-based sauce. The salt was nothing a locally produced Chardonnay couldn’t fix, especially with five buck BYO as an option. Beetroot cured swordfish ($22) is a nice place to start your meal, with long slices of reddish-purple fish joining citrus segments, yellow beetroot slices and pea tendrils on citrus mayo. and chive oil. Bowl lunches are also a good contrast to the salty bivalves. We opted for one with smoked duck slices ($24) arranged over an enjoyable mix of baby spinach, spearmint, watermelon and fluffy clouds of fetta, dusted with dukkah. If you don’t drive around with an ice box full of wine like we do, accompany your meal with local beers or Allpress coffee.

We went there twice during our stay in Mudgee. First time for lunch and my tagliatelle was very good and went very well with a nice glass of Shiraz. We came back for breakfast on our last day, Just before leaving Mudgee and the bacon & egg gnocchi was just superb. Definitely coming back next time we're in town.

We arrived at about 9am.. asked to wait to be seated and with such short notice we needed a table for 5. Staff were so accommodating and friendly about it! They made space and cleared tables for us inside which was greatly appreciated. We could see how busy they were and the smell of freshly ground coffee was just too tempting to skip past. I did not get any other photos of the food or beverages purchased as it was gone as quick as it was bought out to us eating it. I got a matcha - iced - it was creamy, not gritty super yum. Partner got a piccolo and it was also smooth. I ordered the tuna tartare.. it was creamy.. it wasnt super citrus-y compared to some other places ive had it! It was well marinated and just to die for. I wasnt too keen on the poached eggs as it tasted a lot like vinegar still but I wasnt going to complain! It was a Sunday, it was peak time and it was damn hot! I know - as im a chef muself - that the kitchen would of been ten times hotter so I was still happy with the meal! My partner got the bacon and egg gnocchi and it was completely devoured. Kudos to the servers and cooks for dishing this out im a timely manner in this heat!
